Avocado Dip

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and mashed
  • 1 cup green peas, cooked
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh tomato
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp chopped red onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp hot sauce
  • Additional cilantro for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine ingredients in a large bowl. Using a hand-held blender, purée mixture until smooth
  2. Garnish with cilantro and serve with whole-grain crackers or raw vegetables.
