Heirloom Tomato and Basil Salad





Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup pear balsamic vinaigrette 
 2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 1/2 pounds heirloom tomatoes, sliced
3/4 cup thinly sliced basil leaves
1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion

Method

In a small bowl whisk together olive oil,  balsamic vinaigrette, lemon juice, mustard, garlic, salt, sugar and pepper. On a platter, place tomato slices in an overlapping pattern with basil and onion between the slices. Drizzle with dressing and serve.
